The Ring of Gyges fell to earth,
Broke into lines of code,
From which the ‘net was given birth,
Where keyboard warriors strode.
They picked up this lovely shroud,
Unseen, they would now act,
They yelled insults super loud,
Mistaked opinion for fact.
The code then spread throughout the land,
All succumbing to its glow,
Nobody would take a stand
Causing dark displays to grow.
The world grows colder by the day,
Experts hide, while ignorance plays,
Nobody could see it going this way.
Invisible, we all have our say.
