It’s human nature to be at war,
But human’s also can mature,
Violence and blood do not men make,
Animals, also, lives can take,
Perhaps we are just animals now,
But maybe in the future, somehow,
We can grow and learn that love
Places us, not quite above,
But level with the better beasts,
For right now we may be the least.
A future waits for us to grow,
To no longer ebb, but to flow,
Towards peace mankind should surely go;
Otherwise, it’s the end of the show.
