By Benjamin Shapiro
In arguments there are two extremes,
The truth is somewhere in-between,
But fighting blurs this human truth,
Puts extra burden on the proof,
And then emotions get involved,
Tears and anger; nothing’s solved,
Histories of pain and hurt
Angry words that will be blurt
And understanding is thrown away
As we fight on, day by day,
For a cause of small import;
Lost love’s a tragedy in life so short.
There’s no silver lining in a lost friend,
No new beginning, just an end.
